The Theatre Royal Bath on Sawclose is Bath's flagship theatre and runs Friday, Saturday matinée (2.30pm), and Saturday evening performances most weekends (tickets from £15). The Mission Theatre on New King Street stages new and experimental work (typically £8–£12). The Rondo Theatre in Larkhall runs community and fringe productions (£8–£12). BRLSI on Queen Square offers occasional free lunchtime theatre on Sundays.

Cheap seats (Upper Circle) start from £15–£18 for most productions. Day seats are occasionally released on the morning of the performance.
